OverviewChild and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, Willoughby, OH. The Psychiatry Physician role is a full-time employed or independent contractor position with a Monday–Friday schedule and one weekend per month of paid call coverage. The role involves providing care for child and adolescent patients in our inpatient program, including admissions evaluations, daily patient care, and leading the treatment team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, with both full-time salary and independent contractor options.ResponsibilitiesProvide admissions evaluations and ongoing care for child and adolescent inpatientsLead the multidisciplinary treatment team (psychiatrists, counselors, nurses, social workers, and other therapists)Collaborate with the inpatient team to develop and implement treatment plansParticipate in program leadership and contribute to a collaborative care environmentIdeal CandidateBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (or completing fellowship)Experience in Inpatient Behavioral Health Services preferredAbility to lead a multidisciplinary teamLicensed to practice in the state of OhioQualificationsMD/DO degree from an accredited programBoard-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or completing fellowshipLicensed to practice in OhioPrevious inpatient experience preferredMeets all credentialing criteria required by participating physiciansBenefits & CompensationCompetitive full-time salaryGenerous bonus structurePaid call coverageTop-rated malpractice insuranceSignificant paid time off (PTO)401k matchingCME reimbursement and time offHealth insurance packageShort and long-term disability insuranceRelocation assistance (if needed)Commencement and retention bonusesEmployee stock purchase planOverall compensation package to reach above $400,000.
