As a Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. You will work with patients of all ages, providing comprehensive care to improve their mobility and overall foot health.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough examinations of patients' feet, ankles, and lower legsDiagnose and treat various foot conditions such as bunions, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, and fungal infectionsPrescribe orthotics or other devices to correct foot abnormalitiesEducate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measuresCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient careMaintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatmentsA medical assistant will drive and accompany you to all patient visitsRequirementsDoctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited schoolValid state license to practice as a PodiatristExperience in providing PTSD care and senior care is preferredFamiliarity with home care settingsKnowledge of medical records management and documentation standardsStrong understanding of human anatomy and physiologyAbility to develop effective care plans for patientsBasic life support (BLS) certificationIf you are a dedicated Podiatrist looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your patients, we would love to hear from you.
