We are looking for a diagnostician to join our team to conduct diagnostic evaluations and prescribe written orders for services for individuals who may have autism in the greater Philadelphia area. The diagnostician will be responsible for independently providing diagnostic and developmental assessments and/or written orders for children and adolescents referred to our agency for developmental, behavioral, medical, and psychological challenges.General Job ResponsibilitiesConduct autism spectrum or psychological assessments, analyze and interpret data, and write evaluation reportsProvide feedback to clients after evaluationsCommunicate with team members during the evaluation process as neededProvide written orders for applied behavior analysis treatment for qualified new clients and for continuance of services, pursuant to Pennsylvania’s state regulatory guidelines as outlined in their Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) programFollow all regulatory guidelines in accordance with Pennsylvania’s IBHS programOther duties as assignedEMPLOYMENT / CONTRACTOR STRUCTURECandidates may work as a part time employee or as an independent contractor.Part time employees will be paid $125 per hour. The position may increase to full time status with salary as referrals dependent contractors will be paid $1,000 per completion of each diagnostic report and $125 for each IBHS written order.Job QualificationsEducation/LicensureLicensed psychologists, working within their scope of practice, with training, experience, or expertise in diagnosing ASD and/or behavioral health servicesWork ExperienceTwo-three years’ experience, in which a significant portion of time has been spent in diagnosing ASDExperience administering various standardized diagnostic measures, as well as psychological and autism spectrum assessment tools to diagnose and/or rule out autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilityExperience prescribing IBHS written orders for applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health servicesExperience with Microsoft OfficeKnowledge/SkillsProficiency in the following psychometric instruments:ADOS-2ADI-RCARSGARS-2Vineland-2SRS-2ABAS-3WISC-VExtensive knowledge of DSM-5Excellent report writing skillsAbility to effectively collaborate with families, schools, and ASD service providers in child’s communityEffective organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and team skillsBackground knowledge of IBHS guidelines strongly preferredBenefits For Part Time EmployeesFlexible schedule and ability to work from home or office401k retirement plan with company match (50% up to 4% of employee contribution)Additional Benefits For Full Time EmployeesMedical and dental insurance (covered at approximately 70% depending on the plan)Paid Personal Time Off (PTO)/Sick Leave - 3 weeks earned throughout the yearPaid holidays (approximately 9 per year)ABOUT BEHAVIOR FRONTIERS If you are seeking a fast-growing career in the healthcare industry, this is the optimum time to join our team.
