Overview Locum tenens OB/GYN physician needed to join a metropolitan float pool providing 12- and 24-hour inpatient call coverage across multiple sites. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of independent practice experience, be skilled in high- and low-acuity obstetrics, and comfortable working at both tertiary and community hospitals on short-notice assignments. This position is well-suited to local drive-in candidates with flexible availability. Assignment Highlights Shift Structure: Flexible 12- and 24-hour call (day/night), up to 8 shifts/month Float Pool: Monthly schedule requests; shifts sporadic, assignments rotate Skillset Required: C-sections, D&Cs, laparoscopic tubals, ectopics, emergency GYN Current Volume (Secondary): ~2,789 deliveries/year | Primary: low volume (1–2 deliveries/day) Emergency Privileges: Available; 60–90 day credentialing timeline Locums-to-Perm Option: Ongoing contract, ongoing needs Travel/lodging prepaid & malpractice covered HPA Healthcare – Joint Commission certified agency Highly competitive top-tier daily call rate (Top 10%) Skills & Experience Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Active Minnesota medical license (required) Minimum 1 year experience post-training Clean malpractice history EPIC proficiency Comfort working both high-acuity and low-volume environments #J-18808-Ljbffr
