We are looking to add a Senior Project Engineer who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!We are looking for candidates who possess a high capacity for self-motivation and can apply engineering and water resources knowledge to a variety of projects. In addition, you must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies.What You Will Be DoingPerforms detailed design computationsPerforms preliminary layout, modeling and designResearches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studiesAssists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimatesAssists with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planningLead hydraulic and drainage tasks on projects, and coordinate with other task leads and project managers to deliver projectsWhat We Are Looking ForBachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or universityLicensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)10+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modelingExperience in plan and specification development with construction contract administrationProficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GISSalary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 depending on years of experience and credentialsBolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
