With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that’s built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and clinical excellence.We are currently seeking a Infusion Pharmacy Reimbursement Specialist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.Position DetailsFacility: BayCare HomeCareLocation: Largo, FLStatus: PRN - as needed, hourlyShift Hours: 8-5PMWeekend Work: NoneOn Call: NoInfusion Pharmacy Reimbursement Specialist , under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:Responsible for creating and confirming work orders and invoices.Convert dispensed doses to correct HCPC codes units for billing, verifies and ensures correct NDC numbers and quantities are utilized for billing.Verify patient eligibility for Medicare billing for drugs, requests authorization based on HCPC units for each drug and tracks delivery tickets.Responsible for cost and AWP updates and addition for new drugs in the system with correct HCPC codes and units.Responsible for processing credit card payments and assists in tracking of equipment.RequiredQualifications:High School Graduate or Equivalent GED3 years of Infusion BillingIn-depth knowledge of coverage issues with respect to different payor sources.Able to negotiate charges for indigent, private pay etc.Able to work closely with billing department to answer questions and verify insurance as requested.PreferredQualifications:2 years - Insurance VerificationBayCare is all about making the most of your life and loving your career.
