Is responsible for administrative, technical, and scientific oversight of the Laboratory. This includes day-to-day supervision of testing personnel, reporting of test results, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement procedures. Has responsibility for the fiscal budget and is accountable for achieving the department’s budgetary goals; interacts closely with other facility staff and department heads to ensure safe, quality care and that testing is provided in accordance with corporate, facility and departmental standards.
