Based at Baptist Health.ResponsibilitiesProvide a variety of ultrasound procedures on all age groups served by the entity.Safely ensure quality images.Participate in the department continuous quality improvement process.Ensure customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.QualificationsHigh School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training or experience.Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support; ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology.Registration: Ultrasound Technologist 1 - Recent graduate.ARDMS eligible; must obtain ARDMS certification related to the department clinical needs within 1 year of hire.Experience: Six months in an acute care setting preferred.
