OverviewOptometrist, Correctional Facility – California State Prison, Solano (Solano County), Vacaville, CA. This part-time position is 36 hours per week with a monthly salary range of $7,004.70 - $9,287.10.ResponsibilitiesUnder the general direction of the Receiver’s Medical Executive, conducts examinations of the eye using observation and instruments to determine visual acuity and perception, focus, and coordination to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities for the patient.Maintains order and supervises the conduct of the incarcerated and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property.Minimum QualificationsPossession of a valid license to practice optometry in the State of California.Two years of experience in the practice of optometry.Additional InformationPlease indicate the following on your application: JC-487700 and position number 674-213-7971-XXX.
