The next generation of valuations experts manifests within Apprise, adopting and driving technology to become the nation/u2019s largest multifamily valuations company, while providing valuations service for many other specialties and sectors.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist the team in the production and/or review of appraisal and consulting assignments in various marketsManage client contact from engagement to revision requests and coordinate procurement of all due-diligence materialsConduct property tours and competitive market researchTrain, manage, and review assistance, as neededAssist and direct staff appraisers and research analysts throughout project lifecycleParticipate in advancement of proprietary valuation softwareDevelop new and existing client relationships nationwideCommunicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, often in combination with travelPerform other duties as assignedAttendance is generally 8:30 am 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 2 of those days remotelyEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics5+ years of commercial/multifamily real estate appraisal experience preferredActive and in good standing General Appraiser Certification strongly preferredSome staff leadership or client-facing sales experience preferredAchievement of or substantial progress toward the MAI designation preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and commercial real estate data services such as REIS, CoStar, etc.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical skills: proven acumen in financial modeling or real estate underwritingDetail orientedStrong organizational and time management skillsAble to work well both autonomously as well as in a team environmentAbility to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processesCourtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholdersThis position has an estimated base salary of $110,000 - $125,000 plus discretionary production incentives.
