Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job DescriptionOverviewInsight Global is assisting a revolutionary Engineering client in identifying a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a permanent opening. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier identification through to on-time delivery of systems, equipment and resources for subsea habitats and associated operations. You will be working in a fast paced startup business across a broad range of commodities, including technical services, large structural fabrications, complex gas and electrical systems and novel marine system deployments. They will be accountable for the full lifecycle of projects from requirements capture, supplier identification to successful handover of the product or service to the business.ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement the project portfolio from initial requirements capture and planning through to successful delivery.Lead identification, vetting and onboarding of new suppliers to support new business demands.Manage the competitive tendering of contracts to existing and new suppliers.Ensure your portfolio of suppliers delivers on time and to budget while maintaining quality and regulatory standards.Work with engineers to define statements of work for competitive tender on novel technology projects.Maintain clear and effective communication to facilitate timely and informed decision-making among stakeholders.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
