OverviewAzenta Life Sciences is a global leader in sample management and repository services. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Global Product Manager, Sample and Repository Services, who will be responsible for revenue, profitability and service line strategy execution for the SRS business. This role leads the next stage of growth for SRS, engages with key business partners across Azenta to drive the go-to-market strategy, and ensures the vision and direction for the portfolio is clear and executable.Role & ResponsibilitiesDevelop a clear understanding of the sample storage and management addressable market and competitive landscape.Drive VOC capture for the portfolio and support the development of key service line requirements.Own and participate in lean culture execution (kaizen leadership, daily management, etc).Lead the interactions between R&D, manufacturing operations and customers to ensure clear accountability to enable the successful management of the P&L cross-functionally, using risk mitigation techniques and approaches to maximize business results.Drive execution of NPI programs on time and budget.Monitor and report to senior leadership on the revenue progression and performance of the business and implement actions to improve growth and achieve company financial objectives.Foster talent development and inspire passion for business growth; ensure the continued development of organizational talents and capabilities through succession planning.Actively participate in the establishment of processes and metrics to successfully drive performance.Work effectively with functional business partners (finance, operations, HR, legal, R&D) to achieve underlying performance objectives.Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50% of the time).Skills & Aptitude Profile5-10 years of experience in the life sciences industry3+ years of Global Product Management experience requiredExperience and knowledge of working with large pharma and biotech companiesStrong financial acumen: proven and demonstrated P&L management experienceAbility to work with global commercial leaders to drive resultsStrong analytical and forecasting skills—experience with SIOPLean/process improvement experience and demonstrated track record of successPrevious experience within a publicly traded, global companyDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management up to and including the CEOProven track record of new product development and introductionAbility to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and drives attainment of business goalsStrong verbal, written, negotiation and presentation abilitiesAble to effectively lead teams without direct line authorityDemonstrated ability to collaborate with functional business partners and teams to maximize business performanceAbility to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframesAzenta Leadership CompetenciesBuilds accountable & collaborative cultureLeads with strategic agilityNavigates changeDelivers business resultsDrives innovationEqual Opportunity and AccessibilityM/F/Disabled/VET. The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure.
