Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yrPositionPrincipal Consultant - Investment ManagementPosition SummaryA private real estate investment firm based in South Florida is seeking a full-time Associate Vice President to join its Commercial Real Estate Originations Team. The firm specializes in short-term bridge and construction financing through senior secured debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, and joint venture equity investments across various asset classes and geographies. With over $3 billion in closed transactions since its inception, the firm offers a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. This position reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer and works closely with senior leadership, including the Vice President of Originations and Underwriting.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate and underwrite new commercial real estate investments aligned with the firm's strategy.Conduct market research and analyze key performance indicators.Build financial models and proformas, and evaluate complex deal components such as tax abatements, ground leases, and loan documents.Prepare investment memorandums, term sheets, and modification documents.Manage real estate due diligence and coordinate with third-party vendors.Source new investment opportunities and cultivate referral relationships.Represent the firm at industry events, broker meetings, and private functions.Support business development through proactive outreach to brokers, sponsors, and other professionals.Structure deals to mitigate risk and offer creative solutions.Lead client interactions to drive deals to successful close.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in real estate originations and underwriting.5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate, finance, banking, or accounting.Strong network of industry professionals including developers, brokers, and operators.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.Experience with Salesforce, CoStar, and GreenStreet is a plus.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Experience in servicing and asset management is a plus.Must be able to work on-site; remote or hybrid arrangements are not pensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based bonus potential.401(k) with employer match.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunity to co-invest in firm-sponsored deals.Collaborative and energetic office culture.Note: This listing includes other job postings and company information not directly related to the Principal Consultant - Investment Management role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
