OverviewRegional Site Operations Manager (Hybrid) – Compass MiningCompass Mining is a leading provider of Bitcoin mining services. Our business lines extend from owning and operating mining hardware, and hosting at premier facilities globally, to providing solutions to both institutions and retail clients.The RoleThe Regional Site Operations Manager will direct the running of approximately ten facilities and create a safe and efficient work environment that improves business performance and optimizes staff productivity. Duties include directing facilities functions, implementing policies and safety procedures, engaging with vendors and contractors, minimizing hazards, preparing facilities budgets and monitoring expenditure, coordinating expansion and site improvement initiatives, forecasting space needs, ensuring compliance with zoning laws, and coordinating relocations. Travel up to 25% may be required.Responsibilities98% UtilizationRegular cadence of 1:1 with direct reportsRegular cadence of meetings with 3rd party operators and vendorsEnsure progress of employee IDPsCoordinate with fellow Regional Managers and Site Leads to standardize processes across sitesAssist in project management of site deployments, expansions, and refurbishmentsIdentify areas of needed improvement within the operations departmentOversee site leadsProvide site support as necessaryBudgeting and cost estimatesWork alongside the Director of Operations on site by site P&LsTraining staffEnsuring compliance with regulations and lawsImplementing and monitoring all safety initiatives for complianceQualificationsStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skillsProject management experienceAnalytical abilitiesMultitasking abilitiesHighly organizedGood problem-solving skillsPositive attitude in the face of challengesLocation and TravelWork location: Hybrid – must be local to one of the following locations.
