Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yrVice President - Land Development | Denver, COVice President of Land Development to lead the Denver market for a nationally recognized engineering and consulting firm. This executive-level role offers the opportunity to shape the future of land development across the region, driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence.As VP, you will oversee a high-performing team of engineers, planners, and project managers, guiding the delivery of complex residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will be responsible for expanding market presence, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring technical excellence across all phases of land development projects.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute a long-term strategic plan for the Denver land development practice, aligned with regional and national goals. Identify emerging market trends, growth opportunities, and competitive positioning strategies. Represent the firm in industry forums, conferences, and client engagements to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership.Business Development: Lead efforts to expand the firm’s footprint in the Denver metro area and surrounding regions. Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, municipalities, architects, and other key stakeholders. Oversee proposal development, contract negotiations, and client onboarding processes.Project Oversight: Ensure successful delivery of land development projects from concept through construction. Provide executive oversight on scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across civil engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services. Mentor and manage a team of engineers, planners, and project managers; foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the team.Operational Excellence: Monitor financial performance, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. Implement best practices in project management, risk mitigation, and client service.
