From the beginning, we provide candidates with an authentic look into how UA Brands embraces their skills and perspectives, all in ways that continue to set us apart.About The RoleThe Senior Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the distribution center, driving operational excellence in safety, accuracy, cost control, quality, processing standards, flexibility, reliability, and execution to plan. This leader ensures all departments consistently meet or exceed performance requirements, continuously improving productivity, customer service, and profitability. The role requires a strong people leader and strategic thinker, with deep expertise in fulfillment, e-commerce operations, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & Strategy: Ensure Departments Exceed Standards: Lead all distribution center departments to consistently achieve or surpass goals in safety, shortage, cost control, quality, processing standards, flexibility, reliability, customer service, and adherence to operational plans.Optimize Fulfillment & Productivity: Drive fulfillment operations to achieve company profit objectives and customer service goals through optimal productivity/throughput, scheduling, and processing. Balance resource allocation to maximize efficiency and control costs.Strategic Planning: Identify, develop, and execute both short- and long-term strategies that enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency across all operational functions.Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of ongoing improvement. Create, implement, and follow through on action plans to improve operational processes, utilizing metrics and performance data to track progress and drive positive change.Metrics & Customer Satisfaction: Develop, monitor, and analyze metrics, dashboards, and procedures to ensure high levels of customer service satisfaction. Foster a culture of superior customer service at every touchpoint.People Development & Team LeadershipLeadership Development: Develop managers and supervisors across all aspects of their positions. Coach and mentor direct reports to support both individual and organizational growth, fostering a strong pipeline for succession planning.Performance Management: Ensure leaders are providing clear direction, timely feedback, and leading their teams by example. Build a culture of engagement, accountability, and recognition.Resource Planning: Lead workforce planning to ensure appropriate staffing and skills for all operational requirements, especially during peak periods and special projects.Financial Management & Resource UtilizationBudget Ownership: Facilitate the preparation, management, and execution of the distribution center budget. Ensure resource utilization is aligned with operational and financial goals.Cost Control: Identify and drive initiatives for cost reduction and process efficiency, continuously monitoring results against financial ventory, Project, and Facility ManagementPhysical Inventories: Plan, execute, and manage the annual physical inventory process in partnership with the finance department. Ensure accurate reconciliation and thorough documentation of all results.Project Management: Serve as project manager for all major facility projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and deliver expected results.Warehouse Management Systems: Leverage advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems (Manhattan SCALE WMS preferred) to optimize inventory accuracy, order flow, and process automation.Operational Excellence & ComplianceProcess Optimization: Evaluate and enhance warehouse layout, processes, and automation to maximize throughput and minimize errors.Safety & Compliance: Maintain and enforce a robust safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies at all times.E-commerce & Fulfillment Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of e-commerce and high-transaction fulfillment operations to ensure world-class service levels and rapid, accurate order processing.Stakeholder & Customer FocusService Level Management: Ensure all orders—retail and e-commerce—are fulfilled on time and meet quality standards. Serve as the escalation point for any service-impacting operational challenges.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with finance, IT, logistics, customer service, and merchandising to resolve issues, implement solutions, and deliver on business objectives.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.8+ years of progressive warehouse or distribution center management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Senior Manager, Director, or above) in a high-volume retail or e-commerce environment.Proven success leading large teams (100+ associates) with strong operations leadership, a clear vision, and results-driven strategies.Advanced knowledge of supply chain logistics, fulfillment operations, and inventory management.Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan SCALE WMS preferred), inventory control, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).Exceptional project management skills and experience as a project manager for large-scale operational or facility initiatives.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement performance metrics, improve operational processes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies a plus).Outstanding problem solving, decision making, and communication skills—including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and act as a change agent.Preferred AttributesDeep understanding of e-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment operations.Track record of delivering superior customer service through operational excellence.Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.Strong organizational and follow-up skills with exceptional attention to detail.WHERE YOU’LL WORKONSITE – Distribution CenterOur team thrives in a fast-paced environment, working together to keep things moving smoothly.
