The role includes delivering ad hoc analyses and crafting compelling, data-driven selling stories to drive growth with key retail partners. Success in this position requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders—particularly Sales Leadership—and external partners, including replenishment managers at strategic retail accounts. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for advancing team capabilities and expanding the function to enhance organizational value through improved efficiency and effectiveness.Candidates must reside in or around Atlanta to be considered for this role.Key Skills RequiredStrong analytical mindset, decision-making and problem-solving skillsAbility to influence – communicate clearly and concisely to gain alignment and drive action across varying audiencesStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsTime management and project management skills a must!Attention to details and dedication to getting things rightMaintain high level of organization, time management and project management skills, commitment to follow through, enthusiasm, and motivationPrimary Responsibilities And Essential FunctionsBusiness Intelligence and AnalyticsOversee the development and delivery of dashboards, scorecards, and ad hoc analyses that enable sales leaders to make data-driven decisions .Guide the synthesis of National and Key Account customer sales data into clear narratives and strategic recommendations.Identifying opportunities and engaging with relevant customer contacts to drive action towards same, and managing ad-hoc analyses requests and interactions with Sales teamLeveraging tools, systems, and processes, as well as aggregating and using multiple data sources to consolidate key information to create actionable recommendationsFully autonomous on complex analysis and story tellingStrategic PartnershipAct as the primary analytics partner to the VP of National and Key Account Sales, contributing to business planning, performance tracking and strategic decision-making.Conceptualizes, develops and implements new tools, processes and approaches to current business processes within team and with the sales teamSources, vets and implements new tools/software that drive ROI for the companyParticipates in market development activities, including retailer-facing selling, participating in street-level selling crew drives and Distributor customer meetings to:Provide credibility in the delivery of insights and data as part of the selling story,Observe how tools and strategies are being applied in the field,Validate the usability and effectiveness of insights in real-world selling environments, andGather direct feedback from the sales team to inform tool refinement and future strategy.Translate high-level sales goals into analytical priorities for the team.Assists VP of Business Insights & Analytics with executive reporting and modelingTeam Leadership & Development.Lead, mentor and develop a team of four Regional Sales Business Intelligence Partners.Set priorities, drive alignment, and foster a collaborative team culture focused on business impact and continuous improvement.Ensure consistency in deliverables and approaches across National Key Account analytics and insights.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner within the Business Insights & Analytics team to align data definitions, tools and methodologies and ensure holistic, integrated insights.Coordinate across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a consistent data ecosystem.Help evolve data literacy across the sales organization through enablement and coachingEducation/ExperienceRequired:Undergraduate degree in business, math or analytics or equivalent experience5 years of experience in sales, sales analytics, business intelligence or a related field in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) or retail2+ years of leading a teamProven success in partnering with sales leadership to drive resultsStrong command of data transformation and visualization tools (e.g. DOMO) and analytics platforms (e.g. SQL, excel).Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.Highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving and analytical skillExcellent communication and storytelling skills – able to translate data into action.Preferred9-10 years relevant CPG industry experienceExperience within Beverage sales or a high-growth, data driven organizationPrevious experience working in a continuous improvement-oriented environmentDemonstrated success navigating matrixed environments and cross-functional alignment2+ years experience within good2growCharacteristics Needed to be SuccessfulWe are looking for someone with a passion for service.
