Reporting to our Global VP Engineering, this Vice President develops the product development roadmap and oversees the execution of the roadmap(s) for all components of their assigned product suite(s). The critical leadership role also leads their organization through fast-paced, global change in a manner that maximizes talent capability and engagement.Principal Duties and Essential ResponsibilitiesManage overall software development process including architecture, design, implementation, testing, and packaging for both on-premise and SaaS offerings.Championing the Voice IVA / IVR with internal and external stakeholders, driving adoption and revenue.Ensure our customers have an exceptional customer experience and quickly achieve their ROI.Deliver high quality enterprise-grade solutions under aggressive timelines and within budget.Lead a geographically diverse product engineering team.Drive processes, infrastructure, and a culture that ensures effective execution.Provide a clear vision and roadmap for the engineering organization that not only enables Verint to meet market demands but also ensures the development of products that are flexible, scalable, and maintainable.Participate as a key member of the R&D leadership team. Work in collaboration with other leaders to develop plans to ensure business and development goals are met.Drive innovation and continuous improvement.Contribute to and participate in M&A strategy as well as execution. Drive acquisition integration, including integrating related products, platforms and technologies.Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field10 years of progressive management and leadership experience coupled with 15 years overall engineering experience in a large organizationExperience with agile development methodologies in a “You Build It / You Run It” environmentExperience with Conversational AI; techniques and patterns of IVA / IVR based productsExperience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Kafka, REDIS, DB technologiesExperience with AI and LLMExperience with ASR and Voice technologyExperience with telecomStrong leadership, project management, time management, and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication skills coupled with business acumenExperience and familiarity with the major software development technologiesExperience scaling software solutions to support large-scale enterprise solution deploymentsExperience managing a distributed team of developersExperience with scoping large engineering projects and delivering projects on time and within scope; experience with trading off a variety of key projects competing for a limited set of engineering resourcesAbility to communicate with non-engineering members of the management team, translating business requirements into engineering projects with specific requirements & scope, resources and project timingAbility to influence executive leadership and across a matrixed organizationTrack record of hiring, developing and retaining strong teamsSuccessful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations.MIN: $210KMAX: $240KVerint Systems Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination, retaliation, and sexual and any other form of harassment.
