Director Project Management

Overview Join to apply for the Director Project Management role at NiSource. Location: Columbus, OH or Valparaiso, IN. Work arrangement: Hybrid. Salary: $155,400 - $233,100, plus equity and 25% annual bonus. Full Time Perm Responsibilities Lead the initiation and planning of gas major projects through the Project Management Center of Excellence, ensuring consistent application of PM processes to meet project goals. Deliver execution-ready projects on time and within budget. Drive the stage-gate process for project estimate review; define a consistent project life cycle for capital projects; promote standardization of PM best practices. Oversee the gas major projects portfolio, track performance, and address risk; develop and maintain project management excellence documentation and tools. Build relationships with key business partners across execution, engineering, asset risk management, operations, and supply chain. Draft project presentations for senior leadership approval and support executive reviews. Support financial planning through refreshed estimates and project approvals. Ensure field inspections and safety observations meet high standards. Lead development and management of project life cycle policies, standards, and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of project management experience in utilities Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) Integrated comprehension and application of PM guidelines, standards, processes, and aids Proficiency in risk and quality management tools and techniques Proven ability to direct and motivate project teams with strong stakeholder management, communication, and teamwork Preferred Qualifications MBA Experience in large capital projects Work Details Employment type: Full-time.
