As a Business Development Director, you will work with the Industrial Water Market leader to develop and execute aggressive sales and marketing strategies to meet corporate and project goals profitably.Your responsibilities will include:Researching prospects and executing sales outreachCommunicating with prospects until project closure and after completionCollaborating with Market Leaders, Design Managers, Project Directors, and clients to develop concepts, minimize rework, and ensure client satisfactionPartnering with marketing on proposals, digital presence, trade shows, and marketing strategiesSupporting project teams with background information and presentation strategiesPresenting at industry events and technical summitsWorking with Market and Division Leaders on client acquisition, market research, and targeting strategiesGuiding Business Development teams across markets on outreach, communication, and sales techniquesLeading market-specific presentations and supporting project teamsCoordinating with engineering to identify technical needs and develop strategiesSupporting pursuit development and capture strategies for Project DirectorsParticipating in industry organizations (AWWA, WEFTEC, etc.)Travel as neededPerforming other duties as assignedRequirementsStrong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including primary, secondary, tertiary treatments, and residuals managementUnderstanding of wastewater permitting at various government levelsKnowledge of alternative treatment processesHigh client confidence and satisfaction levelsAbility to bridge technical and operational communicationEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or relevant Engineering10+ years in the industrial water marketAdditional InformationWe offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development.
