Clinical Health Scientist /Project Manager Overview We are seeking a Clinical Health Scientist / Project Manager to join our Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) team based in the State of Washington. This is an early to mid-career role for an entrepreneurial, driven individual with a well-rounded skill set to join the EH&S team, combining medical knowledge with project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the medical field, be a strategic thinker, and be flexible to take on a variety of tasks. The position involves professional medical-related consulting services for a wide range of clients, including legal and insurance firms, with expertise in exposure to pharmaceuticals, drugs of abuse, infectious diseases, and environmental and occupational exposures. The work requires professional knowledge of medical and scientific principles and methods applied in clinical settings. A B.S./B.A. in Biology, Physiology, Psychology, Biochemistry, Nursing or related field is required, along with prior direct clinical experience in a clinic or hospital setting and project management experience. Job Responsibilities Support and manage projects under the guidance of a Physician Consultant and a Senior Project Manager Collaborate with team members to apply medical and scientific principles to human health issues Research, critically evaluate, and summarize medical and scientific literature and data Contribute to or lead writing of scientific reports, presentations, and manuscripts Maintain client relationships Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills Display excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro Qualifications B.S./B.A. in Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, Psychology, Biochemistry, or related field is required Clinical experience (e.g., medical scribe, medical assistant, physician assistant, registered nurse, advanced registered nurse practitioner) is required Prior project management experience Physical and Mental Job Qualifications This is a full-time salaried position in the State of Washington. Hybrid local/remote work arrangement. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some rapid-response, after-hours, or weekend work may be required. Local travel during the business day and some out-of-town travel may be needed.
