OverviewJob Title: Executive Director, MBA ProgramsLocation: Kennesaw, GeorgiaRegular/Temporary: RegularFull/Part Time: Full-TimeJob ID: 286901Kennesaw State University, a member of the University System of Georgia, seeks a leader to oversee the strategic direction of all administrative and academic operations of the university's nationally ranked master's programs. The role drives growth and expansion of the programs through strategic planning, recruitment and admissions, program coordination, and ensuring student and stakeholder satisfaction. It collaborates with faculty, staff, administrators, and industry partners to maintain academic excellence, enhance program visibility, and optimize the student experience. The position develops and advances the mission and vision for KSU MBA Programs and creates strategies aligned with the University and College priorities. It designs and assigns program initiatives to manage and grow the programs, drive student enrollment and success, and support college revenue goals.ResponsibilitiesSet the vision, direction, goals, and decisions for program compliance that support the university’s strategic plan, college priorities, program rankings, and student satisfactionDesign and assign program initiatives to grow the programs, drive student enrollment and success, and support department revenue goalsDevelop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy for the programsCollect and analyze internal, syndicated, and proprietary data to benchmark the programs and develop growth initiativesTrack, analyze, and report student data for strategic decision makingOversee academic support services and experiential learning to ensure student success and career readinessCollaborate with faculty to keep the curriculum current and relevant for executive-level professionalsServe as liaison between GaWeb MBA organization and KSU for student information security, timely recording of student information and grades, and proper enrollment billingProvide support and resolutions for student, faculty, and other issues (overrides, complaints, grade appeals, equipment, processes, etc.)Supervise, evaluate, and manage assigned staff to build a high-performing, collaborative, student-centered teamSeek additional university resources for student academic advising and career counseling servicesDesign and implement student success programs focused on leadership, career readiness, and professional growthPlan and execute professional development events, including industry panels, networking sessions, and alumni mentorshipsCreate, manage, and report program budgets to meet state revenue goalsAct as a visible program leader and advocate, engaging with companies and partners locally and nationallyRepresent MBA programs at recruitment fairs, corporate engagements, and conferences to promote visibility and reputationFoster alumni engagement through events, reunions, and advisory board meetingsGather feedback from students, alumni, and employers to refine professional development initiativesManage program budgets and resources in collaboration with faculty to ensure prudent use of fundsRequired QualificationsEducational Requirements: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a related fieldOther Required Qualifications: Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s licenseRequired Experience: Eight (8) years of related work experiencePreferred QualificationsPreferred Educational Qualifications: An advanced degree in Business Administration or related fieldPreferred Experience: Prior higher education experience; experience managing staff; experience with graduate programs and strategic enrollment plans; experience conducting curriculum reviewsAbilities, Skills, and KnowledgeAble to attract, motivate, and retain a committed team with business development and customer satisfaction responsibilitiesAble to collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance programsAble to provide student experience that leads to quality education and satisfactionAble to speak at recruitment events, info-sessions, and orientationBuilds and maintains relationships with corporate partners, alumni, and advisory boardsDevelops semester course schedules balancing needs and resourcesMaintains regulatory requirements and aims to improve external rankingsEnsures consistency in admissions processesAble to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesSkills: interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication, time management, project management, presentation, leadership, and decision-makingUSG Core Values: Integrity, Excellence, Accountability, RespectAdditional InformationThis is a supervisory position and has financial responsibilitiesThis position requires driving and may travel 1% - 24% of the timeThis role is considered a position of trust and requires a purchasing card (P-Card)Equal Employment OpportunityKennesaw State University is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
