Job Title: Project Director Department: Resto & Recon - Small CapEx Reports To: Director of Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Travel Required: 75% Summary: The Project Director develops relationships with regional accounts, manages projects involving restoration and construction, and creates revenue through sales opportunities. They are the highest-ranking official on projects, overseeing restoration losses and construction projects for clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Identify leads and potential client prospects through internal and external resources. Maintain awareness of potential construction, remediation, roofing, and exterior projects. Learn and sell all BlueTeam services, including restoration, reconstruction, roofing, remodel, and renovations. Deploy into storm-affected areas to identify, source, and sell viable targets. Respond promptly to all losses or projects. Vet leads and project specifics. Prepare scopes and estimates for projects. Monitor scope and budgets, review work orders, and approve/reject subcontractor billings. Negotiate and settle emergency services invoicing and reconstruction scopes with relevant parties. Convert all construction opportunities. Qualifications: Established book of business/clientele. Understanding of commercial property portfolio structures. Proven ability to develop and maintain revenue-generating relationships. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to develop strategies to meet sales and revenue goals. Knowledge of construction, design, or commercial real estate industry. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Xactimate Estimating Software, and CRM tools. Ability to cold call and convert leads into new business. Team player willing to share information and leads. Understanding of quality assurance, quality control, and safety. Ability to conduct job walks and visit sites. Business travel required. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in sales, restoration, or construction. Additional Skills: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, present information effectively, solve practical problems, and perform physical demands of the role. Work environment involves frequent site inspections and exposure to construction conditions.
