OverviewNewLeaf Symbiotics (NLS) is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager for a remote, hybrid, or in-person role at NewLeaf’s headquarters near the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regulatory affairs with a passion for sustainable agriculture and biological solutions, and experience managing regulatory projects tied to product line expansion and strategic growth. Experience with USEPA/PMRA BPPD harmonized submissions and an understanding of Biochemical/PGR registrations are essential. International regulatory experience is preferred. Responsibilities and Duties Coordinate US, state, and international registration processes for new product registrations. Review and revise existing product specifications for standard regulatory documents. Identify and coordinate CRO studies required to support registrations. Integrate documentation for new products with NLS communication strategy based on current events and market trends. Review product labels, advertising materials, and website content to ensure compliance with state and EPA regulations. Apply global regulatory compliance knowledge to NLS products and their interaction with complimentary products. Act as liaison with global government regulatory bodies such as US EPA, USDA/APHIS, PMRA/CFIA (Canada), Senasa (Argentina), Embrapa and MAPPA (Brazil), and/or EU agencies. Participate in industry groups such as the National Pest Management Association and Biological Products Industry Alliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in regulatory science or related discipline with 3+ years’ experience, or recent MS or Ph.D. graduate in a similar field with 1+ years’ experience. Experience in a U.S. or global-focused regulatory-related role. Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and policymakers. Basic knowledge of crop protection industry: technical, commercial, farming techniques, crop-specific issues, etc. Familiarity with risk assessment. Experience with the development of chemical or biologically based products for the food, agrichemical, or specialty crop industry.
