OverviewPerimeter Behavioral Hospital of New Orleans has a full-time Director of Business Development opportunity. The role focuses on improving patient lives through a patient-centered, collaborative approach to high-quality care. The hospital is located in Kenner, LA and provides inpatient programs for adults 18 and up.The Director of Business Development is a senior management role responsible for directing the development and refinement of the facility's business development plan. The position collaborates with the CEO and other senior leaders to design, develop, implement, and direct goals, policies, procedures, and systems for the Business Development Department and the facility. The director partners with leaders to align with best clinical practices, program integrity, evidence-based curricula, and community-focused program development to sustain the hospital.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee marketing strategies and programs including referral development, contracts, intake, tracking, social media, advertising, public relations, and community relations.Explore ways to improve existing services and increase referrals.Supervise and coordinate the Business Development team; review weekly and monthly schedules to maximize field presence and monitor productivity and effectiveness of marketing efforts.Monitor front-end systems, execute seasonal and intermittent plans, report trends, and suggest new programs to the VP of Business Development as appropriate.Collaborate with Assessment and Referral Team, Clinical Leadership Team, and CEO on referrals, bed availability, service recovery, and census; maintain experience with acute inpatient referral processes.Submit reports on marketing trends, referral sources, and contracts to Administration monthly.Work closely with the VP of Business Development and the CEO of each facility.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
