Join to apply for the Senior Strategy Analyst role at MortensonThe Senior Strategy Analyst is responsible for supporting the Strategic Planning and Development team in identifying, analyzing, and articulating strategic opportunities and challenges for the organization. Research and analyze data to inform organizational decision-making on new markets, business expansion, and internal strategy practices.RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the lead analytical partner on strategic projects, including M&A assessments, strategic partnerships, and new business opportunitiesPartner with strategy leadership in the development and refinement of strategic plans, annual strategic reviews, and long-term growth initiativesLead key internal and external research and analysis, including structuring and executing a plan for relevant analysis by project, collaborating with operating, service and business service groups to gather insights, understand the business challenge, and align to business objectives, and conducting market, competitor, and industry research to identify trends and implications for the businessAnalyze financial and operational data to support strategic initiatives and business casesExtract information from internal systems, industry reports, public information, field reports, and other data sources to identify correlations and translate them into internal, operational insightsConsume and consolidate large amounts of data into centralized, sustainable, and repeatable measurementsCreate high impact presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior leadershipMonitor KPI and emerging trends to assess ongoing strategy effectivenessMentor and provide guidance to less experienced analystsEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field or equivalent experienceMasters in Business Administration preferred, but not requiredMinimum five years of related experience in consulting, strategy, or related analytical rolesAbility to travel approximately 25%Experience with analytics and visualization toolsAdvanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBIStrong storytelling ability and translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insightsStrong management and cross-functional collaboration skillsStrong business acumen, intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work by agreed upon deadlinesConcise presentation skills with the ability to explain large amounts of informationAbility to think analytically with great attention to detailAbility to follow complex instructionsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven understanding of business operationsActive listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackBenefitsMedical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $91,000 - $136,500.Mortenson is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
