OverviewDirector, Infrastructure Capital Projects & Climate Advisory (Power & Utilities) at KPMG US. This role is part of the Advisory practice and focuses on Field Services within Infrastructure and Projects Advisory for the Deal Advisory practice.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and inspire a team of professionals to deliver utility Field Service Management (FSM) solutions to clients; develop and implement strategic plans for the FSM consulting practice, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives; drive innovation within the FSM domain, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologiesServe as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction; translate client needs and business objectives into actionable FSM strategies and solutions; oversee the development and delivery of proposals, presentations, and project plansOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of FSM engagements, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget; monitor progress, conduct status meetings, and provide transparent reporting to clients and stakeholders; implement best practices in project management, quality assurance, and risk managementGuide the design and implementation of FSM solutions, leveraging industry best practices and advanced technologies; ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with clients/' goals and technical requirementsIdentify new business opportunities within the FSM domain and develop strategies to grow the practice; build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and represent the company at industry eventsCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies; develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for FSM engagements; evaluate and improve processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; manage the financial performance of the FSM consulting practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysisQualificationsMinimum eight years of recent experience in construction management or construction advisory services with increasing responsibilities in major power and utilities, oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, or public sector projectsBachelor/'s or Master/'s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field; Professional Engineer, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma preferredExperience coordinating clients and managing subcontractors for full life cycle construction projects, including planning, pre-construction services, sourcing and procurement, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating, quality management, project reporting, and closeoutExperience using various Field Service Management toolsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder relationshipsWillingness and ability to travel; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without required employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the futureSeniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionGeneral BusinessBenefits and additional informationKPMG complies with local/state regulations regarding salary ranges.
