Executive Director - SPHERE, UNSWLocation: Sydney NSW or other sites as deemed necessary (Hybrid work arrangement available)Employment Type: Part time, fixed termRemuneration: Level EAbout SPHEREMaridulu Budyari Gumal – the Sydney Partnership for Health, Education, Research and Enterprise (SPHERE) is an NHMRC accredited Advanced Health Research Translation Centre (AHRTC). Hosted by UNSW in partnership with health partners and other organisations to advance health outcomes and healthcare through research translation and capacity building.Why your role mattersThis position is an exceptional opportunity to lead SPHERE at a critical stage in its evolution. The Executive Director will drive the future success of SPHERE to ensure alignment with NHMRC requirements and the priorities of its partners. You will provide strong strategic and operational leadership, work with Council to implement our strategy, revitalise partnerships and position SPHERE for successful reaccreditation by 2027.Who You AreThis role is suitable for an outstanding clinician researcher, translational scientist or health administrator and first-class advocate. You will be an exceptional leader who can drive organisational management and champion health research translation to elevate SPHERE. You will have a demonstrated track record of working closely with the health system and engaging with key stakeholders including government, funding bodies and community organisations. You will also:Possess a relevant degree and ideally postgraduate qualifications.
