You will be responsible for master scheduling and demand planning at both the program and sub-assembly levels, ensuring the timely fulfillment of critical vehicle hardware and components that enable production.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage BOM configurations and vehicle configurationsInvestigate and resolve data integrity issues related to purchase orders (POs), receipts, inventory, revisions, work orders, and demand signalsGenerate demand signals based on inputs from BOMs, inventory levels, lead times, build schedules, procurement activities, and open work orders to ensure production readinessOversee the detailed management of multiple top-level vehicle configurations in the MRP system and collaborate with component planners for sub-assemblies to ensure that demand signals are accurately processed and addressedDrive strategic decision-making for sourcing, make/buy decisions, delivery schedules, and production timelines for both pathfinder builds and production rampsLead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts in collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure build starts and support production, testing, and integration readinessMake critical decisions for managing high-cost and long-lead components in early design phases, ensuring on-time delivery while minimizing expendituresSupport procurement activities, including quoting and PO issuance, when necessaryMonitor and verify receipts, purchase orders, inventory levels, BOM revisions, and work order accuracy to ensure clean demand signalsCollaborate with production and manufacturing engineering teams to align production and build schedules for pathfinder builds and ongoing productsCommunicate status updates, action drivers, and blockers to all stakeholders, fostering proactive communication and teamworkMaintain top-level assembly configurations for new designs and ensure that BOM configurations align with MRPWork closely with design and manufacturing engineers to populate and maintain the bill of materials (BOM)Oversee forecasting of parts from various teams and disciplines across multiple suppliers to ensure schedule alignmentMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field4+ years of experience in engineering, material/production planning, operations, or master scheduling4+ years of demonstrated experience working with ERP or inventory systems2+ years of experience in procurement and vendor relationship managementPreferred Skills and Experience6+ years of experience in purchasing, contract negotiations, material/production planning, or master production scheduling within a production/manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes related to mechanical componentsDetail-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentProven experience building dashboard tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiencyStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on speed and accuracyDemonstrated leadership and team-building capabilitiesExperience with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies, or the ability to create tools that eliminate repetitive tasksSelf-motivated, quick to learn, and skilled at prioritizing tasks to meet both customer and company goalsStrong technical ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processesAbility to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers in a fast-paced environmentEngineering skills that contribute to improving part quality, delivery, and costExceptional analytical and organizational skills, with a high degree of self-motivationStrong negotiation skills with proven results that meet or exceed goalsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsProficiency in technical tools and software (e.g., MS Office Suite, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI)Additional Information:Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
