OverviewClinic Executive Director - ABA Centers of America, Bedford, NHAre you a natural leader with hands-on experience running a healthcare business? Have you built a successful career by managing a high-performing team? We are looking for someone to run one of our clinics in the ABA field and provide exceptional services to our clients.The Executive Director serves as the senior leader, accountable for the overall success of clinics across four key pillars: operations, growth, financial performance, and culture. The Executive Director acts as the primary driver of local growth and partners with the Business Developer to foster community relationships and drive client acquisition. The Executive Director mentors and develops the next generation of leaders, preparing leadership staff for future growth.What You'll DoGrowth Mindset & Strategic ExpansionTake full ownership of center growth and client retention, exceeding monthly targets for new patient admissions and diagnosticsBuild and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and school systemsLead business development activities including community events, outreach campaigns, and innovative growth initiativesCoach staff to adopt a proactive mindset around client acquisition, engagement, and retentionManage full clinic P&L, including top-line revenue, clinic operating cost, labor and non-labor expense managementOptimize center profitability by acting on key financial drivers such as center growth, contract rates, billable hour utilization, and service completionCollaborate with corporate finance and operations teams to implement strategies that maximize clinic profitabilityOperational ExcellenceContribute to Organizational Key Results, meet or exceed center-based KPIs and targetsLead high-quality execution of ABA services through proactive scheduling and resource optimizationMaintain compliance with licensing, accreditation, and internal policiesMonitor and drive service delivery performance, ensuring 100% treatment completionUse data dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to track, analyze and interpret data/KPI to make informed decisionsTalent Retention & EngagementHire, develop, and retain high-performing teamsCreate a high-performance culture by investing in professional development and celebrating successLead effective onboarding and mentorship programs for new team members and EDiTsConduct regular employee rounding, performance check-ins, and engagement surveys to foster a connected and motivated teamRelationship-Driven LeadershipBuild trust with families and caregivers through early and frequent engagement, ensuring consistent communication and satisfactionHost or promote weekly caregiver support groups to build community and empower familiesAdvocate for school-based services and support caregiver participation in treatment planningDevelop and nurture strategic relationships with community stakeholders, referral sources, and business development partners to support growth and enhance service awarenessChampion collaboration across departments, including Clinical, Admissions, Marketing, and HRQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Behavioral Health strongly preferredMinimum 5 years of operations and growth leadership experience in a high-growth service industry, healthcare/health system, behavioral health or educationEntrepreneurs with franchise or service supply chain experienceProven track record of leading operations, driving organic growth, increasing revenue growth, and building engaged teamsUnderstanding of financial fluency (P&L, EBITDA, KPI analysis)Deep understanding of ABA therapy and/or allied health services is strongly preferredHigh emotional intelligence, resilience, and an entrepreneurial mindsetBenefits21 paid days off (15 days of PTO, which increases with tenure, plus 6 holidays)Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insuranceGenerous 401(k) with up to 6% employer matchBonus potential based on performanceABA Centers of America is a great place to work.
