Key Competencies: Fiscal Management, Critical Thinking & Decision Making, Developing Self & Others, PhilanthropyImprove Operating Performance: Engage the board and staff to develop an annual tactical plan with safe, relevant, and sustainable practices. Address issues promptly, forecast future needs, and manage operations.Develop and Implement a Strategic Plan: Collaborate with volunteers, community leaders, and staff to create a strategic plan with defined strategies, a clear implementation plan with deliverables, and measurable goals. Key Competencies: Change Leadership, Communication & Influence, Critical Thinking & Decision Making, Program/Project ManagementSteward Fundraising Efforts: Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan to establish the Y as a leading nonprofit through engagement of members, volunteers, staff, and donors. Focus on capital fundraising and annual giving as well as endowment. Key Competencies: Philanthropy, Engaging Community, Communication & InfluenceBuild and Lead Staff: Ensure talent development, hire, motivate, retain, and hold staff accountable for key objectives. Create a learning organization and promote a culture of mission and collaboration.
