DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Vice President Premium Audit Classification: Exempt, Full-time Division: Corporate/Casualty Reports to: SVP Casualty Underwriting Operations Travel: 10-15% Work Environment: Hybrid/Remote Salary: $165,000-$190,000 + performance bonus About the role: DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Vice President Premium Audit to join the team. The VP Premium Audit role is a key business partner within the company. The VP Premium Audit will work with other key stakeholders in the company and alongside business unit leaders implementing Premium Audit process for new programs, maintain existing programs, improve and ensure favorable outcomes and effect change to mitigate risk.Essential Functions:Liaise and partner with Business Unit Leads, carrier partners, and Accounting/Finance for establishing Premium Audit guidelines and threshold by Casualty business unit.Participate in new carrier / program onboarding to define Premium Audit process and implementation.Develop, maintain, and monitor internal controls/metrics to mitigate risk and show teams results.Lead new Premium Audit system implementation and build out of rules, reports, and ongoing management with support from third party vendor and IT/Data team.Hire, train, manage team production in line with established goals, and build out Premium Audit team to support Casualty providing recommendations for additional hires, as appropriate.Support SVP Casualty Underwriting Operations and Business Unit Leads with Premium Audit operational needs to support business objectives.General oversight of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Premium Audit tasks that will be managed by Operational Supervisors.Vendor management of Premium Audit vendors, tracking costs, verifying large time charges, and regular meetings.Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounting, Operations, and Data team, to ensure quality services, carrier Bordereau reporting of audit results, audit billing/non-compliance billing, and execution of projects.Handle escalated audit disputes and process final audits, as needed (acting as a player-coach).Provide Underwriting training presentations, as needed, for any concerns/patterns found at time of audit.Address issues escalated by Business Unit Leads, Carrier Partners or Operational Supervisors - further escalating to SVP if needed.Establish and implement new processes to improve and streamline operational processes and efficiencies.Enforce a documented system of Premium Audit back-office and underwriting support policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with state rules by auditable line of business, manual rules, workflows, and procedures.Assist with execution of strategic plans established by executive terface with Risk Management to work with external auditors to provide supporting documentation and follow up on process changes, if requested.Manage and complete projects as needed.Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the company.Job Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Insurance related field or Commensurate experienceInsurance Licensure preferredStrong insurance manual (ISO, NCCI, WCIRB, etc.) and Premium Audit knowledge, particularly with respect to MGAsPossession of key competencies:conflict managementorganizationdecision makingManage Premium Audit staff and other support staffOversight of Premium Audit process and results within product groupingDemonstrated success with innovating solutions to processes to increase efficiencies, productivity and profitabilitySolve problems when direction is lackingUse of Microsoft products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft TeamsStrong organizational skills with flexible, enthusiastic approach to changeProfessional work ethicEmployee management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsIf you do not meet all the qualifications for this role, we still encourage you to apply, as we are always looking for diverse talent to join our growing team.What we offer:A career that you define.
