Join our team to learn, play, and grow with us!We announced our plan for the 'MapleStory Western Project' at GDC 2024 – a brief overview of the information posted for MapleStory players can be found on the official website: will join the MapleStory Development Team, where you will play a important role in designing, developing, and implementing game features that enhance the MapleStory experience. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other engineers to create engaging gameplay and ensure technical excellence.We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work modelJob ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain game features for MapleStoryCollaborate with designers and artists to bring creative visions to lifeOptimize game performance and resolve bugs to ensure a seamless player experience.Other duties as assignedWork Experience1+ years of experience as a software engineer in the online game development, or a related fieldEducation, Professional Training, Technical Training or CertificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experienceAward-winning history in public programming competitions (huge plus)Knowledge/SkillsRequired:Proficient in C++ languageExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlinesExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferredPassionate about MapleStory, with deep familiarity with its gameplay, history, and communityProficient in KoreanNexon’s Benefits And PerksWe offer medical, dental and vision plans for you, your spouse or domestic partner and your children. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location.Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
