Apply via Dice today!OverviewKforce has a client that is seeking Senior Digital Merchandiser, Spirits to join our Digital Merchandising team in Bethesda, MD. This is an onsite position 5x a week.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Merchandising and Marketing to plan, develop and optimize online strategies for growing sales and maximizing marginBuild strong cross-functional partnerships throughout the organization to drive and deliver strategyOwn the planning and execution of our online pages across device types for search and browse journeysFormulate category strategies by creating customer-friendly shopping experiences for key segments, leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs and shopping behaviorsLead online taxonomy, navigation and sortingCore ResponsibilitiesCategory Management: Oversee and optimize product categories to align with business goalsDigital Experience Optimization: Continuously improve the online customer journeyProduct Boosting: Strategically elevate key items to drive visibility and conversionSpirit Strategy Execution: Develop and implement merchandising strategies that reflect brand spirit and seasonal prioritiesCross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and promotionsPerformance FocusSales Impact: Monitor and respond to sales growth or decline with data-backed strategiesAnalytical Mindset: Use analytics to inform decisions and measure successRequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field preferred3-6 years of experience in Digital (Merchandising or Marketing), Buying, Category Management or Vendor Management, or a combinationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively apply knowledge by creating action plans (Adobe experience preferred)Excellent attention to detail and the ability to successfully multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere, while understanding big-picture objectives and strategyAbility to manage workload, project plans, and to work effectively with cross-functional teamsMust be a team player who is able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentMust be flexible and easily adapt to change as business priorities shiftProficiency in Microsoft Office SkillsExperience with regular A/B testing a plusExperience as a user for key merchandising tools (e.g. search results algorithms, product recommendation, etc.) a plusRetail and/or alcohol industry knowledge a plusKey AttributesHighly driven and self-motivated: Demonstrates initiative and thrives in fast-paced environmentsData-savvy: Comfortable interpreting and leveraging data to drive decisionsTool- and system-oriented: Brings a strong understanding of digital platforms and merchandising systemsIndependent contributor: Capable of hitting the ground running with minimal oversightConfident communicator who actively contributes to team discussions and strategyProfessional BackgroundDigital and retail experience: Proven track record in digital merchandising within retail environmentsTechnical ProficiencyMicrosoft Office Suite, especially ExcelAdobeBloomreachPower BIGoogle Analytics (focused on site engagement)The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
