Headquartered in Dalton, Georgia, Shaw is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. with more than $6 billion in annual sales and 18,000 associates worldwide.ResponsibilitiesWork with independent retail and local builder partners to create best-in-class consumer experiences in-store and online, while driving sales and increasing brand desirability.Execute the strategy across Shaw’s brands and customer groups (e.g., Shaw Flooring Network and other buy groups). Main KPI is to establish and deliver the brand’s financial targets within the West geography.Deliver consistent brand experiences to key independent retail customers and their consumers through strategic co-marketing plans, sell-in plans, advertising, marketing and promotional assets, digital marketing, and online content that support sales goals and align with brand strategies and annual plans.Develop and execute customer annual co-marketing plans and supporting creative, including detailed budgets aligned with Sales and advertising plans focused on digital tactics and timing with retailers and Shaw plans; bring Shaw National Brand strategies to life at a local level and deploy promotional plans from buy group and Shaw Flooring Network teams.Measure and evaluate ROI through sales and promotion effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, including quarterly reporting with a focus on ROAS for digital media; manage and track annual marketing spend and effectiveness by customer.Manage co-op/BDF funds with customers to ensure effective use.Continuously optimize the online consumer experience through trade partner websites, including website content management, online product demo strategies, retailer website consumer ratings and reviews management, and digital co-marketing campaigns.Establish a regular cadence of meetings with key customers’ marketing departments to plan, measure, and continuously improve.Fully support marketing needs for key product launches across brands by leveraging Brand content and collaborating with Sales, Digital and Training teams to ensure robust launches at each customer.Travel within the United States is required, primarily within the West geography and to headquarters in Dalton, GA.Preferably located in Southern California; other West geography options near a major airport with direct flights may be considered.This role reports to the VP, Customer Marketing.RequirementsDegree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or related field and 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, customer/channel/trade marketing, sales, or equivalent.Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong presentation skills.Strong budget management and analytical skills.Action-oriented and responsive in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of digital marketing content and platforms and their measurement.Preferred QualificationsExperience working directly with Sales and customers to create and execute marketing plans, especially with independent retailers.Experience in the home renovation space with retail or manufacturing petenciesCreate a Strategic PlanDemonstrate Strategic InfluenceDemonstrate Customer OrientationDrive ResultsBuild Trusting RelationshipsWork Location and ScheduleLocation: West region (preferably Southern California); travel within the United States required; may reside near a major airport for direct flights.
