This role is primarily responsible for identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical medical and commercialization market for our learning solutions offerings.The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and development and creating solutions to meet client’s needs. Previous pharmaceutical training and development experience a plus and a proven record of accomplishment of sales success in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech/ Medical/Life Sciences industry.The Director of Client Partnerships-Learn will utilize their business development background and experience to gain access to key decision makers and influencers in the Pharmaceutical / Biotech / Life Sciences Learning Solutions segment. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing a territory plan and specific account plans to expand Amplity Learning Solutions relationships with industry contacts leading to an expanded footprint and increase sales.The ideal candidate will take a consultative approach toward the new business development efforts, gaining a deeper understanding of our prospective client's development skills and learning solutions needs and pain points. The candidate will proactively develop customized strategies to address learning solutions for opportunities; market, consult and close business; interface with client as needed during the implementation phase and follow-up with client on final execution/delivery.Ideal candidates will reside in the Eastern US, however, consideration may be given to all candidates with strong business development, learning and development background and experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech accounts in the U.S. Relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.Amplity offers a base salary with a highly competitive bonus plan, a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision pet insurance, 401K company funded long-term, short-term, disability, life insurance, mental wellness program paid holidays, generous PTO and more.Essential ResponsibilitiesAct as the Amplity Learning Solutions subject matter expert (SME) on introductory calls scheduled by the lead generation operations / teams at AmplityIdentify and pursue new Amplity Learning Solutions business opportunities based on your own experience and pharma relationshipsLead Amplity Learning Solutions pitch presentations as part of the multi-component proposals presented in collaboration with team members from across Amplity’s full spectrum of offerings.Proactively call on prospective clients within the territoryDevelop and maintain active new business pipeline to meet and exceed all revenue targetsSelling learning and development and strategic consulting projectsPlan, orchestrate, strategize, and “own” all aspects of the assigned clients’/prospects’ data related business development initiatives and activitiesDevelop and implement BD strategic plan for maximizing revenues through prospecting and lead generationRecommend traditional and/or innovative strategies to achieve client learning solutions business objectivesDevelop and maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and prospective clients, industry associations, complementary service providers, key decision makers, and influencers across the learning and development sector of the life sciences industryDevelop and present proposalsSuggest strategic approaches, proposals, budgets/pricing, and presentations for use in current and prospective client interactionsBe the communication channel between clients and internal teams demonstrating a deep knowledge of learning and developmentCritically review reports, presentations, RFPs and work with clients and internal teams on multiple iterations when needed to assure project objectives are achievedQualifications And SkillsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience.MBA or other advanced degree a plusAbility to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness that support employee growth and developmentProven track record of working with cross functional teamsMinimum of 5 years’ experience working a business developing role selling consulting services and or in the learning and development, instructional design and or pharmaceutical life sciences industry in roles with progressively increasing responsibilities that include either Sales and/or Business DevelopmentDocumented/proven record of accomplishment of successful sales/business development effortsDemonstrated ability to access key decision makers/influencers that can drive strategy and data purchasesExcellent working knowledge in training/ learning and development and adult learning strategies highly preferredMust be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as and LinkedIn.Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skillsHighly developed planning and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to deliver solutions in a changing environmentKeeps abreast of data industry trends and identifies new strategies to addressWillingness to travel 30%EPIIC ValuesAll positions at Amplity have a responsibility to demonstrate our EPIIC Values in order to uphold our high-service standards.Excellence: We set high standards.
