OverviewDematic is in search of a Director of Customer Service Sales in our West region. This role is a strategic-level position reporting to the VP, NA (North America) Customer Service Sales. This is a key role in sustaining competitive advantage in the marketplace and in the future growth of Dematic. The sales activity is highly technical. A strong knowledge of the material handling industry is ideal. This position will be required to work with a matrix cross functional team to deliver on company order intake targets. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In This Role:Designs and leads sales strategy to penetrate accounts. Develops annual sales and strategic business plans. Manage the sales process, which includes revenue management, sales training, mentorship, performance measurement, and management.Build, develop, and manage Lifecycle sales teams who are capable of carrying out needed sales initiatives.Maintain key customer relationships; develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s service offerings.Drive evaluation of potential new and existing customer needs and lead the team in a proactive post-sales approach with a focus on solutions.Leverage customer insights to identify business opportunities and strategies.Lead and assist with complex sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations. Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.Ensure as-sold margins are maintained by collaborating with professional services.Participates with regional sales teams to help win high visibility targeted opportunities.Directs strategy for retention of account base and development of new accounts.Develops and manages budget, KPIs, and business plans.Demonstrates the ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders including internal stakeholders, customers and vendors and be seen as a trusted advisor.Demonstrates experience in driving initiatives, while holding teams accountable for results and ensuring continuous improvement.Model our Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, and Excellence. What We Are Looking For15+ years of B2B industry experience, with 10+ years of direct applicable experience at a management levelLogistics and automation experienceMust be extremely knowledgeable with the interworking of a Distribution Center.Experience in the analysis of performance metrics; short- and long-term technology development planning, evaluation, testing, and selection.Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.Strong commercial presence and the ability to lead discussions at the executive level.Exceptional track record of developing and implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectivesAbility to travel up to 50- percentExperience with building a successful sales teamSkilled negotiator and persuaderProven ability to overcome objections and influence outcomesProven success affecting change in a matrix organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
