This role requires proven experience leading direct-to-consumer retail sales and managing multiple retail store locations across multiple states. You will oversee individual contributors’ performance, coach and train team members in Ulrich’s sales process and principles, and ensure a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture. Your leadership and strategic oversight will drive growth and profitability across the territories you manage.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesOversee direct-to-consumer sales operations and implement strategic sales plans within all, currently three, territories nationwideSupervise the operation and performance of all regional retail store locationsSupporting planogram development and new site selectionOverseeing the approval and opening of new retail locationsLead and support a team of retail sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer experience standardsWork with company leadership to establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territoryImplement regional sales programs by developing digital and field sales action plansTrack sales performance, store activity, traffic, and conversion ratesComplete sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on resultsCounsel and correct staff behavior as needed to maintain team performancePlan, monitor, and appraise team performance and resultsSkills & AbilitiesMust have experience managing multiple direct-to-consumer retail store locations across multiple statesHistory of building a high-performance team with an accountable sales cultureExperience in setting and forecasting sales targetsTech-savvy with strong computer skills (able to type quickly and navigate systems efficiently)Knowledge of social media and online marketingStrong analytical skills to interpret sales data, KPIs, and customer trends; possess the ability and willingness to produce, analyze, and present data to improve sales outcomesMaintain a professional appearanceStrong listening and communication skills, with the ability to ask insightful questions5+ years of sales experiencePunctual with a positive attitude and personal drive to exceed goalsPersuasive and comfortable closing salesHighly coachable, with the ability to learn quickly and retain knowledgeAttention to detail and process requirementsStrong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skillsTime management and analytical skillsFamiliarity with Google Suite (preferred)CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)Able to lift 40 lbs if neededCompensation and BenefitsAnnualized base pay: $90,000 - $130,000 (depending on experience)Performance-based annual bonusPTO401(k) with a company matchFull-time, Non-ExemptLife InsuranceLong/Short-Term Disability InsuranceProfessional Development OpportunitiesWork Location & HoursWork hours will vary Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Some Saturdays will be required to support the team. All stores are closed on Sundays.Approximately 30% travel is expected, primarily to support our retail teams in California and Virginia. Travel to Texas stores is considered part of regular field operations and not included in the travel estimate.
