Territory Sales Manager - Midwest (IN, OH, KY, WV)OverviewThe Territory Sales Manager, PreVantage Solutions will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, supporting the Channel Sales Director, and preparing sales reports. This position will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the customer experience and may require significant travel. If you are familiar with account management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication, and understand consumer behavior, PTS has an opportunity for you. This position will collaborate with our Channel Sales Director and sales team to achieve quotas while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services.ResponsibilitiesUp to 70% travel throughout an assigned territory to support and guide PTS customers and distributorsMentor peer field sales managersDevelop higher level working relationships with customers by ensuring their needs are met and resolving complaints promptlyConsistently meet or exceed sales targets by persuading customers within the territory to purchase company products and servicesAnalyze sales and marketing data to determine effective techniquesDevelop innovative sales strategies to increase sales within the territory and share them with peers from a leadership perspectiveMaintain brand awareness within the territory to meet company expectationsEffectively utilize CRM to manage the assigned territoryDemonstrate success in new business development and lead qualificationWork effectively in a home-based environmentSubmit accurate and timely sales reports, including forecasts and activity reportsProvide regular updates and track customer activityDeliver product presentations to appropriate decision makers to support sales objectivesQualificationsAbility to read and interpret general business correspondence, periodicals, journals, or regulationsDemonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-levelExperience with CRM software and MS OfficeExperience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needsProven ability to juggle multiple projects with attention to detailExcellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsEducation And/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in business or related fieldSeven to ten years of experience in salesStrong communication skillsQuick decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesSome technical background with emphasis in point of care (POC) diagnostics preferredDistribution knowledge preferredQuality CommitmentThis position requires compliance with applicable quality systems and regulatory requirements.
