Come join us to take your career to new heights and make it an awesome work life!What You’ll Make a DifferenceWe are seeking a dynamic Senior Property Accountant who can provide accounting, reporting and administration for assigned stores and Joint Ventures. Additionally, the individual will assist accounting management in various reporting and analysis while working on a team and meeting the demands of a growing company.Perform full-cycle accounting processes for assigned properties based on generally accepted accounting practices and industry knowledgeMaintain and reconcile accounts (e.g., bank, loan, impound), including preparing and posting of related journal entriesMonitor and review accounts payable coding, payroll processing and other operational systems for accuracyAssist in month-end expense allocation processReview financial statements and research and report on variance from prior periods and budgetPrepare and distribute monthly financial statements to internal and external partiesAssist with annual auditsAssist in tax reporting and compliancePrepare budgets for assigned properties and support the budget-preparation processPrepare quarterly investor distributions and assist with investor relationsEnsure compliance with local business licenses, sales and other local tax requirementsMaintain appropriate documentation, records, and files, supporting the store’s accounting and business, including documentation of all material, unique related aspects and processesAnalyze and report on store performancePrepare ad-hoc reportsSolve unique problems and issues and perform special projectsHandling more technically complex propertiesOnboarding new propertiesPlease note that you may be asked to perform a variety of duties from time to time, which may not fall strictly in your job description.
