Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$63,252.00/yr - $84,984.00/yrDuties and ResponsibilitiesPlan, assign, and review the work of staff, adjusting assignments and schedules to maintain adequate staff levels and respond to fluctuating workloads.Develop and implement procedures within the team to ensure professional, efficient and high-quality customer services and work products are provided.Evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals. Assess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide instruction.Review staff work for quality, accuracy, and standardization, providing feedback as necessary.Provide management reports on team productivity, quality and operations.Apply Project Management, Process Improvement, and Change Management strategies to work assignments.Supervise daily activities of the Account Processor team at the Tumwater headquarters location; provide leadership and development in partnership with customers to enable easy business operations.What We're Looking For / QualificationsRequired:A Bachelor’s degree.Two years of experience in a related field providing direct customer service.ANDAdditional qualifying experience may substitute year-for-year for the required education.Desired:One year supervisor experience.Exceptional people skills with the ability to train, coach, set goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback.Plan, organize and prioritize workload; ability to problem solve and make decisions in fast-paced environments.Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and ability to produce timely, accurate work products.Proficiency in clear verbal and written communication and data-driven decision making.Lean principles and continuous improvement mindset.Supplemental InformationThings You Need To Know: L&I is a diverse state agency focused on safety, health and security of Washington's workers.
