They are responsible for planning, managing, reviewing, and completing client engagements. Tax Managers provide proactive tax savings and profitability suggestions for our clients and work to attract new clients, cultivate client relationships, and serve as a key contact for designated clients.Our professionals help clients minimize tax liability while staying compliant with evolving tax laws. In addition to consulting and compliance services, we offer stock option planning, international tax advice, and expert consultation on investments, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and liquidations.ResponsibilitiesManage and review complex tax returns for individual, business, and trust returnsUnderstand client business needs, identify and analyze tax issues, and clearly articulate relevant tax issues, authority, and conclusionsLead tax engagements from start to finish, including planning, budgeting and monitoring fees, execution, and deliveryDevelop and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and understanding their business needsEnsure timely and accurate filing of client tax returns, meeting all regulatory deadlinesReview work performed by team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and accuracyDemonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including interpreting complex tax laws and regulationsMaintain extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulationsApply strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple engagements and deadlinesEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in AccountingActive CPA license5+ years of experience in high-net-worth tax planning, compliance, and consulting in public accountingDeep understanding of estate, gift, and trust tax laws and their applicationExpertise in IRC Sections 671-679 (Grantor Trust rules) and estate tax law principlesFamiliarity with family office services and private foundation structuresProven experience overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client serviceAbility to develop tax planning strategies for clientsProficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing staff and senior associatesSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance, Consulting, and Accounting/AuditingIndustries: Technology, Information and InternetRemote Senior Tax Manager / Director Pass Throughs - 180k - 250kUnited States: $180,000 - $250,000; Atlanta, GA: $125,000 - $160,000; Atlanta, GA: $108,000 - $128,000; Peachtree Corners, GA: $150,000 - $200,000; Hybrid Path to Partner Tax Manager Position ($150k - $180k DOE): Atlanta, GA $160,000 - $180,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
