Director of Learning Strategy2 Hour Learning is seeking a Director of Learning Strategy to unify execution across diverse school models, raise the bar on academic leadership, and become the external voice of a movement grounded in rigorous learning science.The successful candidate will have a bold academic vision, experience leading academic or EdTech teams, and a track record of applying AI or technology to accelerate learning.ResponsibilitiesCreating academic frameworks that translate learning science into practical guidance for curriculum, motivation systems, and app design.Leading academic execution reviews across Heads of Academics to ensure school teams are aligned, accountable, and delivering results.Synthesizing data, interviews, and observation into academic ecosystem reviews that spotlight the highest-leverage barriers to accelerated learning and propose actionable interventions.Driving strategic alignment through planning, feedback loops, and milestone tracking to maintain focus on student learning goals.Representing 2 Hour Learning at the highest levels, from keynote stages to sessions with Ministries of Education, driving systemic change in how the world thinks about school.RequirementsAdvanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomesProven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learningTrack record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advisingStrong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high barFluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventionsComfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leadersNice-to-have RequirementsFounded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech ventureExperience navigating cultural, political, or international education contextsDeep familiarity with Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks2 Hour Learning is reprogramming learning for the AI era, providing a dynamic and remote-friendly environment where innovators, educators, and AI specialists can be part of fixing a broken school system.The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
