OverviewThe Division of Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio is seeking a mid-career faculty member to join our team as Associate Division Director for Research.The Division of Hospital Medicine and the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s provide outstanding infrastructure for single- and multi-center hospital-medicine specific research. Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of the Top 10 National Institutes of Health funded free-standing pediatric research facilities. In 2023, our hospital medicine division’s extramural grant funding exceeded $700,000 supporting a wide portfolio of multi-center projects focused on evidence translation and equity.The Division of Hospital Pediatrics currently has 56 faculty members, including pediatric, newborn, and med/peds hospitalists with diverse academic and clinical interests. An ACGME-accredited two or three-year fellowship program started in 2018 and welcomes two fellows per year. Supported by superb clinical infrastructure, the division had over 7,800 discharges and 23,000 patient days in 2023. Newborn hospitalists cover the nursery at Ohio State Medical Center involving over 5,000 deliveries per year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
