Join to apply for the Interior Designer - Aviation role at Actalent3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Interior Designer - Aviation role at ActalentGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.An Architecture and Interior Design firm in Chicago is looking to add an Interior Designer to their Aviation team!Job DescriptionAssist in all phases of the design process on a variety of projects in size and scopeGenerate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a projectFoster a productive partnership with the client and project delivery team through regular communication and collaborationUtilize appropriate software at a proficient level to create graphics and presentation materialsSupport the integration of the design process with other workflows and project tasksCollaborate with project teams serving as concept champions throughout the projectExecute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documentsApply knowledge of construction methods and timelinesMaintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and productsContribute to the selection of materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipmentActively contribute to the production of major components of a thorough set of construction documentsAssist with contract administration responsibilitiesConduct field verification and site visits as neededQualificationsDegree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent4+ years of experience in commercial design; Aviation experience strongly preferredHolds state registration for interior design or steps taken toward testingDisplay strong design portfolio showing strengths in conceptual design, space planning skills, and detailingRevit proficiency and technical excellencePay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
