Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$160,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yrWe are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering & Maintenance to lead the engineering and maintenance functions and be responsible for driving operational excellence by overseeing capital projects, implementing process improvements, and managing maintenance initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless operations, optimize efficiency, and enhance productivity.DescriptionOversee and manage all capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, from initial planning through to final execution.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Lead initiatives that focus on cost reduction, product quality improvement, and overall productivity gains.Apply data-driven techniques to identify areas for optimization and implement effective solutions.Establish, uphold, and enforce engineering standards and specifications to ensure consistent and reliable operations.Create and document best practices for engineering processes and procedures.Lead, mentor, and grow the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Oversee the execution of preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and general facility upkeep.Implement and maintain a comprehensive maintenance management system to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Collaborate with production, quality, safety, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery.Facilitate effective communication and coordination across teams to achieve shared objectives.Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies.Promote a culture of safety and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.ProfileBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.A minimum of 10 years of engineering and maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.Demonstrated success in managing CAPEX projects and implementing process -depth knowledge of maintenance best practices and safety regulations.Strong understanding of safety compliance standards and regulations.Outstanding leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.Experience in cGMP environments is highly desirable.Job OfferCompetitive Salary and Bonus, Relocation Support, Career Development Opportunities.We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering & Maintenance to lead the engineering and maintenance functions and be responsible for driving operational excellence by overseeing capital projects, implementing process improvements, and managing maintenance initiatives.
