By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold.The Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) Electrical Engineering Team is responsible for developing high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Working across hardware, software, and mission autonomy, the team delivers flight-critical electronics, PCB assemblies, and FPGA-based processing architectures that enable Anduril's next-generation autonomous air platforms to operate in complex and contested environments.We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing, troubleshooting and working on harnesses and complex electronic systems.What You'll DoSetup, execute and analyze test experiments per test procedures and record findings into test recordsSupport with builds of test harnesses, racks, and environmental setupsImprove and update automation, consistency, and coverage per engineering instructionsTroubleshoot and repair of electrical, electronics and integrated circuits to the component levelMaintain and calibrate electrical and/or mechanical test equipmentCreate assembly instructions and bill of materials for test equipment and fixturesDocument test plans, user instructions and manualsOperate a clean and safe work environmentTravel to test sites and external laboratories as requiredRequired Qualifications4+ years of electronics testing experience in an R&D environmentFamiliarity with reading electrical system and component schematicsFamiliarity with product development life cycle, reliability, and compliance testingFamiliarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, data acquisition and measurement sensorsStrong root cause analysis skillsExcellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skillsAble to pivot quickly between tasks and prioritize simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced environmentEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications5+ years electronics experience including testingAssociate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or related fieldsFamiliarity with IPC Quality Standards, IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD and other assembly and inspection standardsExperience with High Voltage and High Power Testing such as propulsion inverters and batteriesExperience with equipment calibration and metrologyExperience with electrical compliance testing such as EMI/EMC testingUS Hourly Range: $30—$55 USDHealthcare BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost to you.Generous time off: Highly competitive PTO plans with a holiday hiatus in December.Family Planning & Parenting Support: Coverage for fertility treatments, adoption, and gestational carriers, along with resources to support you and your partner from planning to parenting.Mental Health Resources: Access free mental health resources 24/7, including therapy and life coaching.Additional BenefitsIncome Protection: Anduril covers life and disability insurance for all employees.Professional Development: Annual reimbursement for professional developmentCommuter Benefits: Company-funded commuter benefits based on your region.Relocation Assistance: Available depending on role eligibility.Retirement Savings PlanTraditional 401(k), Roth, and after-tax (mega backdoor Roth) options. #J-18808-Ljbffr
