Fully onsite at Thousand Oaks, CA.Good to Know3 Key Consulting is hiring a Metrology Engineer for a consulting engagement with our direct client, a leading global biopharmaceutical company.ResponsibilitiesDevelop calibration procedures and job tasks along with associated training materials.Apply strong understanding of flow, electrical, torque, and temperature instrument standards.Understand measurement uncertainty analysis for primary and working standards as well as process instrumentation.Identify and determine new standards to support instrumentation and metrology calibrations.Utilize technical troubleshooting skills for instrument prehend ISO and related standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and ANSI/ISO Z540 in calibration and quality contexts.Conduct vendor quality audits of calibration service suppliers and manage vendor quality issues.Experience with CMMS systems like SAP, Maximo and MOX, and interface with corporate facilities teams on calibration matters.Provide technical consultation on measurement problems and lead technical project teams.Support deviation investigations, reverse traceability assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions related to calibration and measurement issues.Assist in engineering and performance assessments for new technologies supporting standards, manufacturing, process development, and research equipment.QualificationsMaster’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience OR Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience.Minimum of ten years of experience in metrology engineering, preferably at a large company’s primary standards laboratory or in a comparable technical role.Educational qualifications include a Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.At least seven years of engineering experience in pharmaceutical or aerospace metrology or related fields is required.Candidate must be highly skilled in metrology and calibration within regulated pharmaceutical settings, capable of leading technical projects and ensuring global quality petencies and EnvironmentExperience with GMP or GXP environments and expertise across multiple measurement disciplines (pneumatic/fluid flow, pressure, electronics, temperature).Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and client sites globally to implement a calibration control program.Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and ANSI Z540 in calibration contexts.Familiarity with vendor management and internal communications within regulated environments.Employee Value PropositionUnique industry opportunityNetworkingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at 3 Key Consulting, Inc. by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
