Unlock your potential!Job Summary And QualificationsPlans, coordinates, and directs all administrative functions and technical activities of the Imaging, Radiation Oncology, and Gamma Knife Services departments.Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs.Guides and coordinates the activities of managers and staff of all Imaging departmentsFacilitates selection of managers, orientation, continued competency assessment, and feedbackServes as leader for managers and employeesCoordinates and integrates interdepartmental and intradepartmental servicesEstablishes and maintains positive rapport between department employees, physicians and ancillary departments to ensure the continuance of a harmonious work environmentProvides guidance and direction in problem resolution; serves as a liaison between employees, physicians, and hospital administrationServes as a patient advocateWorks closely with the Medical Directors and the hospital administration regarding capital equipment acquisition, facility and staffing needsEnsures compliance with all state and federal guidelinesKeeps current with communicationsDevelops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of servicesInterprets and applies hospital administrative and personnel policiesActively participates in designing the approach to assessing and improving the performance of care and services provided, and ensure that it is implemented through monitoring and evaluationGuides and directs the development of short and long term goals and objective within the departmentDirectly manages Imaging departments as necessaryDevelops and monitors operating budgets to control costs and ensure maximum economy and efficiencyActively participates in the promotion of all Imaging, Diagnostic, and Therapeutic ServicesPerforms all other duties as assignedFor more than 100 years, Wesley Healthcare has provided exceptional care to thousands of families in Wichita and throughout Kansas and Northern Oklahoma.
