The Company has been leveraging its experience building augmented reality micro-display engines, interactive display modules, and consumer lidar modules.MicroVision has an immediate opportunity for a Sr.Electrical Engineer. As a key member of the MicroVision Electronics Platform engineering team, you will work directly with electronics design engineers as well as with the Firmware, Systems, MEMS, Optical and Mechanical engineering teams. This position at our Redmond facility will provide electronic hardware analysis, design, and development for our 3D LiDAR sensing product.Pay Range: The pay range for this Washington-based role is $110,000 - $125,000. Exact compensation offers will vary based on skills, experience, and location.Your Responsibilities:Design and develop mixed signal electronic hardware for 3D LiDAR sensing productsPerform bring-up and debug of new designsSupport designs through full life cycle from initial bring-up and testing to root cause of production yield issuesOrganize, structure, and deliver design documentation packages for fabrication and assemblyConduct design reviewsProvide technical interpretation of design documents for contractors, suppliers, or partnersRequired Skills:Experience with the entire PCB design process; schematic capture through system IntegrationSolid communication and problem-solving skills, ability to understand complex systems and work in a fast-paced environmentExperience with mixed signal circuit design incorporating high speed digitalDemonstrated use of Lab instruments: Oscilloscopes, Meters, Analyzers, Supplies, etc.Excellent verbal and written communications skills in EnglishProficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or similarUnderstanding of circuit sensitivities and dependencies on PCB layoutExperience with high density SMT layout for high volume production PCBsFamiliar with modern HDI PCB fabrication and assemblyFamiliar with Engineering Document control database managementDesired Skills:Experience with automotive design/automotive qualification testingExperience with LiDAR or radar system designExperience with wide bandwidth, low noise analog designExperience with MCUs, SoCs, and FPGA’sExperience with DDR or eMMCExperience with Altium DesignerExperience within the automotive, medical, aerospace, or industrial industryRequired Experience:MSEE, BSEE or similar technical degree4-5 years of related work experienceBenefits:MicroVision is also proud to offer a comprehensive benefit program including:Competitive compensation and equity programChoice between an HSA Medical plan with 100% employer-paid premiums and generous contributions or a Buy-Up PPO Medical planPPO Dental plan 100% employer-paid for employeesVision coverage 100% employer-paid for employees401k plan with company match to help you save for your future (50% of your contributions up to the first 6% of your eligible pay)Generous time off package including a flexible vacation program as well as incidental personal/sick days and floating holidaysSupplemental pay for Parental LeaveCompany-paid basic life and AD&D insurance and long-term disabilityMicroVision is committed to an inclusive workplace.
